Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama, and the medicine drama The Resident. She received critical acclaim in her portrayal of Eleni Anderson Cooper, her first television role on CBS soap show Guiding Light. Her most notable movies include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a feature film by Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created the Immortals) is believed to be in production. She is also filming an upcoming show called Gods & Heroes.
