Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American actor, performer and songwriter for several years. She was raised by her mother within the USA. Raised with racial taunts and made to feel unwanted. She began to gain confidence in the ninth grade after she took part in a school audition and was highly praised for her performance. Not only did she gain confidence from the experience, but she also changed career goals. At the age of 22 she was a graduate of New York's Julliard School. When she turned 23 she began her career in Broadway in the Paul Simon musical The Capeman. Then, aged 23 her first film debut was You've received mail. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot She played The Lady of The Lake and won both the Tony Award as well as high praise from critics. In 2007 she was cast on the ABC program Grey's Anatomy and became more well-known. A singer by profession She has also recorded one single and an extended work. She is also an activist who is active for LGBT rights.
